Adopt-a-County Road Litter Program Open for Sign Up

Gillespie County Commissioners Court is pleased to introduce its Adopt-a-County Road Program to maintain the natural beauty of our County while decreasing the cost of litter pickup. The Gillespie County Adopt-a-County Road Program focuses on Gillespie County roads to support and recognize groups and volunteers who are willing to help pick up litter on our County roads to keep Gillespie County beautiful.

The County will: a. Work with the participating individual or group to identify the specific section of County road to be adopted. b. Erect at least one (1) sign on the adopted section with the participant’s name displayed. c. Provide safety information, trash bags, traffic control signs and safety vests.

How to apply: Request an application form from the County Commissioner of your precinct, or print the application from our website. Submit your completed form to the Rural Addressing Department located in the Courthouse Basement, Room 101A or email to Contact information is on the application form.
