Community Covid-19 April 26, 2021 Free Testing at Pioneer Pavilion
COVID-19 community testing events will be taking place this month on Monday, April 26.  The testing events will be offered free of charge to the public.

All testing will take place at the Pioneer Pavilion located at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

No appointments are required however, pre-registration is encouraged.   Pre-registration can be completed by visiting

Testing can be conducted on patients of any age.   Testing will be conducted on a first come, first served basis.

Those being tested are asked to wear their masks and to refrain from eating or drinking anything for 20 minutes prior to testing.

A screening process will be in place and administered by State Health Department personnel trained to gather information and assess symptoms which could suggest that a person should be tested for COVID-19.  Anyone with the primary symptoms of COVID-19, including fever and/or chills, dry or productive cough, fatigue, body aches/muscle or joint pain, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, nasal congestion, or loss of taste and/or smell, will be eligible for testing without the need of a prescription from a medical professional.  Anyone who is asymptomatic may also be tested.

Results will be available three to five days after testing.  Those tested will receive an automated text and/or email with results once available.  Those with questions about their results should contact the Spartan Medical Call Center at 1-888-998-3568.
