On Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, the Fredericksburg Police Department will team up with Methodist Hospital Hill Country and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to give the public an opportunity to dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs safely. Residents can drop off their medication via drive-thru at the Law Enforcement Center located at 1601 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, Texas. This service is free and will help you dispose of these medications safely. 

This event provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications — no questions asked.
